Our Interesting camping trip

It was a normal camping trip. We got there at midnight and I practically
just fell right into my sleeping bag . Then I slept till 8:00. Got up
and then we had eggs that we cooked over our handy dandy gas stove.
And I roasted a biscuit on a stick for the first time. We talked I played with the babies (Jen and Tommy went with us.)
and things were just going swell. But, alas it was not to last.
For it wasn't long after I finished eating that it started to rain!
We grabbed the chairs and every thing else that shouldn't get wet and decided to go check
out the board walk in Branson (Sorry I forgot to mention we camped at Table Rock lake.)
But, before that we went to this really cute coffee shop. Sorry I didn't take any pictures.
I got this really good caramel hot chocolate.(Mom wouldn't let me get coffee.)So we sipped, talked, then it was off to the boardwalk. We went to Bass Pros first and they had this really cool stuffed animal display
Isn't it cool? So when we got done looking there unfortunately it was still raining so I kept the babies with dad, Tommy and Silas while the rest of our group went down the board walk.
Then we found a pavillion and ate lunch and I took these cute pictures of Malachi.
Isn't he cute? I find it impossible not to take pictures of him. He is so photogenic.
As soon as he saw the camera he started smiling.

By the time we got done with lunch it was still raining and dad said it might rain the next day too.
So we trying to decide if we should go home or stay another night as planed.
We decided to decide when we got to the campsite
Jen looked in her tent and there was no kidding 6 inches of water in her tent! That settled it.
It was time to pack up.
  On our way home
Boy am I a goof. I didn't even mention why were up
there. Ben had a football game in Blue Eye. Very
small town. The game was in-between eating lunch and going back to the campsite.
And since it had been raining and still was, the field was very muddy. It was a interesting game Ben said.
I stayed in the car. Out of the rain.hehe.
Mom and Dad were the only parents on the bleachers! The game was about half over and the field was pretty much one big puddle when it started lightning. So they called the game. 18 to nothing.
We won!
So that's when we headed back to the campsite and found we were flooded out.
On our way home we stopped at a Mexican
restaurant called El Charro. I think.
It was funny because the workers couldn't tell us what the name meant.

And that ended our interesting camping trip.

                yours truly,
                    ~Ivy~
