Celebration of independence

The fourth was great! We went to Ash's about noon with lots of food and our swimsuits and had a blast! Since it's hard to describe fun with words I'll just  give you some pictures. 

Yep it was fun jumping, swimming, playing chicken, wrestling you know all the things you can't do at a public pool. ;)

We made an awesome tower too. Four people! Oh yeah!
And of course we can't go a fourth of July without a homemade bomb. This year with Stephen gone it was Ben and Derek. I got a video but I kind of jumped at the end.

 And I couldn't help taking pictures of my adorable nieces and nephews. Especially little Elsie. Isn't she adorable? And so tiny.

       

Sabrina and Malachi were pretty good pals too.

                                          I think Malachi wants to be a dentist. lol

And then after Ashlee's, Jenn, Tommy, Rebekah, Silas, and I (and the babies) went to see the fireworks at Rolla Lions Club.
This was my first time taking pictures of fireworks. I think they turned out pretty well though.

So yep that wrapped up our amazing fourth of July. (we got some fireworks yesterday though just waitin' on the rain.) 

Thank you to all our troops who gave their lives for our freedom. Including the ones who are still active. Thanks a ton!
