A flaw and a craft

I know what your thinking. "I thought she had a page for her all her crafts" and I do. But, I have found a flaw in my plan. Those of you who are bloggers and have extra pages on it will know that you can only post one post on a page. Well I decided that" well I will do it anyways because when I add a new craft I can just hit edit that post and  post the new craft." Simple and it seemed like it would work.
Here let me ask you a question. Have you looked at the "Get Crafty" page since I made it? Probably not. I am not being mean I probably wouldn't either because when you edit a page it doesn't alert your followers only when you do a new post. So you probably looked at the first craft when it alerted you and then forgot about it.
Am I right? So I will keep the "Get Crafty" page but, it is going to be lade out a bit different.
And when I get a new craft I will post it on the "Home" page but, there will be a link to that post from the "Get Crafty" page. So they will be easy to find.
(Oh, in order for me to make this work I need to re-post the other two crafts on the "home" page so yes you will be alerted again that I posted them.)
Now that I got that cleared up on to my latest craft.

Storage bins!

You are probably thinking "storage bins? boring." Well there is a story behind this craft.
(I mean I guess you can call it a story.)
I am a pretty organized person. I like things to be neat and tidy and lately our bathroom has been driving me nuts. Normally it is Rebekah's job to keep the bathroom clean. But, it needed more than just a quick wipe down and straightening. So I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I picked up the trash lying around the trash can and wiped the toothpaste off the bottom of the cabinet.
Then it was time to organize. So normally storage bins are the first thing I think of.
So I went to mom's storage room where there are normally millions. But, of coarse when I actually need them there weren't any. So I figured hey storage bins boxes what's the difference?
So I cut, sewed, and glued and the viola! The coolest storage bins I had ever had.
Take a look-see and see how they turned out.

You probably guessed the "I" and "R" stand for Ivy and Rebekah

   Supplies: Cardboard
                  fabric
                  a glue gun
                  a sewing machine (optional)
                  and imagination

How to make them:
It was actually really simple. I just made some boxes out of cardboard the sizes I needed and then covered them with fabric using a glue gun. I told you it was pretty simple.
You can really do what ever you want with the fabric you can do two different fabrics like me (That is what you will need the sewing machine for.) or you can monogram it.
That is where the imagination comes in.You can make it whatever you want. That is one of the reasons I really enjoyed this craft. You make it your own.
Well, This has been a pretty long post and I better go. So Have fun!
