Elves we were, and to a dance we went..

The Lord of the Rings dance I have been waiting for so long was tons of fun! Rebekah and I were Elves.
Rebekah was Arwin. ( She really wanted to wear a black wig. But Jen and I convinced her she looked better without.)
I also was a Elf but not a particular one.
We both made some ear cuffs for ourselves to make our ears look a little more Elvish

Camping on the Buffalo {Part 2}

I'm sure you all know how hectic the first month or so of school can be. Trying to fit my schedule with mom's   and yeah....So that's why I didn't finish a few days ago. Oh, did I also mention Stephen's home for a visit? So he's been hangin' out, We have been playing his Xbox. :P Anyways....
So after camping there on the last night we stayed at a small cabin. But, before we got in that very inviting shower we decided to do a little more hiking.
But, on the way we saw some Elk!
These are just cows (girls) and babies.

There is a buck. Check out that rack! (click to enlarge.) And we got to hear it Bugle! It was really cool.

Well we all went to this cave called Eden Falls. It had a water fall inside it! But, since it's a cave it's just a little too dark for pictures. Just a little. :P
But, we saw a few other things on the same trail on the way to the cave.
 Like a natural bridge.
Which was pretty cool.

Rebekah found a tree she could fit in. :p
 And this is Eden Falls.
                                             My Fam
Then after that hike Silas and Mom went back to the cabin while Rebekah, dad, and I Went on another hike to hawksbill point. It was a nice light hike to finish the day.

                                          Isn't that so cool?

The view from it was amazing!
                                              My pop

Then we went back to the cabin took the very needed shower drank hot chocalate and just kind of hung out the rest of the night. We got up in the morning packed, packed put our stuff in the truck. Then we went and got our Suburban from the shop and dropped off the C's truck. And headed Home.
It was fun. But, it's always nice to come home. :)
Here are just some random pictures from our trip:

Camping on the Buffalo {part 1}

Wow, well it was a long tiring, fun, and interesting vacation. And we are finally home!
Well I know I told you we were going up to Colorado for vacation and yes that is what I thought till about two hours before we left and mom told me we were going to Arkansas instead. And we ended up leaving a day earlier than I thought. Mom had just got home from, Rolla dad was on his way home from work, and we were all bustling around trying to get things ready to go.
Finally we were on our way.
We made it to our frineds house by midnight. Visited for a little while and then to bed.
We always have fun at the C's house. We swam jumped on the trampoline and held little Arley.
And for some reason I didn't get any pictures at their house. :P
I guess it was a day later or so we found out the transmission was broke on our suburban. So our friends were very kind in letting us stay several days longer than planned. We were not going to take our car to the shop for a few days so the Cs let us borrow their truck so we could go and finish vacation. (They were probably relieved once we left.)
So we went and camped at Beaver Lake. (And I forgot my camera at the C's.) We rode in the boat, swam, got sunburned , and tried to stay in the water as much as possible out of the heat. Rebekah, Silas and I went swimming just off the bank and had a mud fight. It was fun.
Then it was back to the C's so dad could take our Suburban to the shop, and then we stayed and visited the rest of the day. And of course I had to get sick. Bleh! It wasn't too bad sitting inside and listening to the adults talk though. :P
Then the next day we drove down to Kyles's on the Buffalo to campe some more. And I was still not as sick but, not totally well yet. But, I hiked with the rest of the Fam from the camp ground to Hemmed in Hollow anyways. (Hey! What do ya know I got pictures :)

It was Beautiful along the way!

We saw this neat old barn was on the way to Hemmed In Hollow.
Oh, wondering what Hemmed in Hollow is? It's a water fall that is 204 ft. tall! It was so tall I couldn't even get the whole thing in the picture.
There wasn't a whole ton of water since there hasn't been much rain.
You can't really see the water in this picture since there wasn't much but, this is most of the fall.

This was from a little cubby behind the falls.
Here are some more pics on our way back.

                                     We found some wild grapes.....
                                                    .....They were delicious.

Well this is already a really long post so I'm going to finish it later. B-)
